Being 20

It’s 6.21 in the morning, and I couldn’t sleep since 12.30 am and I’ve only been sleeping for 2 hours. So let it be

I don’t know why I just want to share my experience on being 20 something. I had my birthday on July 20^th, like almost a month ago, when I was still in Nanjing, China. I wasn’t be able to share this thing on Twitter on my birthday, since, as you know, Chinese government ban Twitter (plus other sites such as facebook, youtube, and blogspot as I know). I think it just appropriate to share this thing on my blog now.

My beginning time being a 20 years old was splendid! I was in China for internship with AIESEC (I’ll share it about it later ;)). At the midnight, I was in my room doing Skype with Kiki and Acha. Then, my friends gave me surprise with cake and candles, plus Sarah was splashed me with this much amount of water! What a nice night to share with your foreign friends, aboard, and kidding on your birthday! :D

Allah SWT has given me the best present for being 20: Experience. I got to be more mature and independent, because of this particular exchange program. I learnt that being older means more responsibility. You cannot act like a child anymore, and for my case, dress up like a child. You have to be mature inside and outside. And what comes along with it, to get more problems, yet we also get more point of views to solve it. I really am grateful with this present, alhamdulillah. It’s more valuable than those luxurious things.

I’m gonna stop here since I’m already blabbering too much. So, keep your years valuable and meaningful. As they say: carpe diem. Seize the day!

another means of failure

earlier this night, i had interview for voluntary work abroad. i prepared for the interview for last several days of this week. i read wikipedia, tried to speak the mother tongue, even prepared questions to ask because i was interested with the work. to sum up, an hour before the interview i was quite nervous and afraid to face failure.

then it was the time for interview. at 8.30-ish.

and the interview only last for couple minute.
and that's it.
only that.
i feel, that i was going to fail and down. then, i post some tweets about it. and you know what happened?

my FEUI friends were response to the status! they replied to me with funny words and as always, mocking each other and others cheered me up and said 'semangat'! from that time, for me failure is not always means bad thing, but it is time when your friend support you and be there for you.

so, whatever the result will be, i really thanked for them (and my sista) for being there and you guys really cheered me up :") {}

Dekorasi Kamar Part 1

Tahun baru. Semangat baru. Semester baru. IP baru yang lebih baik (amin)

(Dekorasi) Kamar baru.

Tahun kemaren, kamar gue dicela abis-abisan sama Sindy karena kamar gue berantakan. Well, definisi 'kamar rapih' gue dan Sindy memang berbeda haha. Setelah disarankan melihat-lihat tumblr untuk ngeliat kamar yang rapih, gue baru menyadari bahwa.. kamar gue tidak serapih itu.

Gak usah dikasih liat kamar gue ya hahaha

Dan setelah ngeliatin kamar-kamar super rapih dan super unyu, akhirnya gue memutuskan untuk mendekor ulang kamar gue. Hal ini tentunya membuat Sindy kesenengan saat gue bbm haha, gue minta bantuin dekor anaknya malah masih kuliah. huff emang beda kuliahan beda waktu libur. Jadi berbekal tumblr, uang dari bokap nyokap, channel-channel interior dan intuisi, gue akan mendekorate kamar gue!

kalo udah rapih gue kasih gambar 'before-after' deh haha (kayak iklan diet-diet itu :p)

dan yang udah mulai di re-decorate adalah wall photos di meja belajar gue

Lumayan banget pake Post It sebagai media buat tempel menempel foto-foto nya. Dasar abu-abunya ini (gue gak tau namanya, semacem karton gitu) bisa di bentuk sesuka hati, terus langsung dpt double tape buat nempet ke tembok. dan best part nya adalah.. si abu-abu ini lengket, jadi buat nempel foto nya nggak perlu pake lem, bener-bener tinggal nempel aja!

jadi mau bikin part 2 dari tempelan Post It ini haha. Smell you later after re-decorating my whole room is done and i'm off.. watching Gossip Girl haha.
